Central Grille is a minute walk away from my apartment and I don't know why I barely tried it! The food is delicious and the service is amazing. On my first visit I got a quinoa salad that was packed with avocado, veggies, spinach, quinoa, and a generous piece of chicken. Because I wanted to try more things on the menu, I took enough of it home to completely fill me up on my next meal. Their truffles Parmesan fries were to die for. Perfectly crispy, not an overwhelming taste of truffle oil, and a good amount of Parmesan. My boyfriend got short rib tacos which were recommended by our server and they did not disappoint. We both got dessert (lava cake and carrot cake) that was a perfect end to our lunch. Our second visit was for breakfast. We both got some type of omelette (can't remember the names) and they were stuffed, perfectly cooked, and a good size. We shared banana nut pancakes which I loved because they were simple and not overwhelming. Again the service was great and speedy. We will be coming back here often!

My favorite spot near my work! Central Grille is really solid with any dish I've had here. I always call ahead to pick up my order and it's always ready in the estimated time they give me. My favorites here are their braised short rib tacos, their fried fish tacos, their thai chicken salad and their brick chicken but anything I've had here has been really tasty so you can't go wrong. They recently started opening later for limited hours which sucks (after 3pm) but i totally understand with the current pandemic. Their prices are fair and their portions are great. Definitely a solid spot worth a try.

My friend treated me here for a belated birthday dinner and I was quite pleased by the experience. We were seated in comfortable booth seating and there was a nice, warm ambiance to the place. For appetizers, we shared Sweet Potato Fries, Crispy Cauliflower Bites, and Crispy Truffled Brussel Sprouts. The Sweet Potato Fries were perfectly crispy and tasted like actual sweet potato. They were my favorite and absolutely addicting! The Crispy Cauliflower Bites came with cheese sauce, corn, red bell pepper, and green onion. This was pretty tasty, but there was so much breading on the bites that it overpowered the cauliflower. I was looking forward to trying the Crispy Truffled Brussel Sprouts, but they were way too greasy. The truffle flavor did shine through though. I ordered the Sesame-Almond Crusted Salmon for my entree. This was served with lemon butter sauce, asparagus and I substituted the garlic mashed potatoes for truffle Parmesan fries. I was happy they allowed me to do that. The salmon was truly delicious! That sesame-almond crust really worked well together to form a nice crunchy exterior. The salmon itself was melt in your mouth tender, juicy, flaky, and satisfyingly succulent. The accompanying butter sauce was rich, creamy, savory, and indulgent. The truffle Parmesan fries were also amazing! It had such great truffle flavor and cheesy taste. The asparagus gave a fresh element to the meal. Of course I also had to get dessert of Molten Chocolate Lava Cake with vanilla bean ice cream, as well as whipped cream. I enjoyed this with Cafe Mocha, which was velvety smooth and a lovely blend of espresso and chocolate. The molten cake had a dusting of powdered sugar on top, and was simply delectable! There was plenty of melty, sweet, velvety chocolate inside. Eaten together with the ice cream, it was even more yummy! Service was wonderful. The waiters were friendly, attentive, and kind. We were well taken care of throughout our time. I am glad I had the opportunity to dine here! The pricing is pretty reasonable as well. I would possibly come back if in the area.

I had to drop my sick fur baby at the Vet, so my PIC and I came here to have a cocktail while we waited. When we arrived it was fairly empty. I asked if it was ok to sit at the bar and the host said, "sure." The bar is where I prefer to sit because I meet nice people and have good conversations with them as well as the bartenders. Jose greeted us and brought us menus. My PIC (Partner in Crime) ordered a Jack n' Coke, and I had the Cucumber-Basil Martini. Jose prepared my martini, placed the glass in front of me, and then poured my drink from the shaker. It was a nice presentation that made the experience extra special. Jose was also friendly and personable. Shortly after, a lady arrive and had a seat at the bar. She asked Jose if someone would be stopping by. She told us that she often stops here on her way home from work. About 10 minutes later a couple came in and sat in a booth next to her. She said hello to them, and Jose brought over their drinks - cocktail shaker in hand. It was obvious that this is a place where the regulars hang out. Sort of like the Cheers of the neighborhood. A little while later her friend arrived, and we had an enjoyable conversation with them both during our visit. My PIC ordered the Braised Boneless Beef Short Ribs. Since I was worried about my baby I drank my dinner instead. (After my first cocktail I ordered the cucumber vodka with soda.) He said the meal was delicious and cleaned the plate. The short rib was tender with no fat or bones and was topped with caramelized onions. The sauce was flavorful. The garlic mashed potatoes were very tasty (I took a bite and agreed) and the vegetables were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The presentation was also nice. His meal was so good he decided to get dessert and ordered the Molten Chocolate Lava Cake. Since chocolate always makes me feel better when I'm down I shared it with him. We both agreed that it was amazing! We cut it open and warm creamy chocolate oozed from the center of a moist Devil's Food cake. You could taste the fresh vanilla in the vanilla bean ice cream. It paired perfectly with the cake. As we were leaving the ladies at the bar wished my baby well and said they hoped to see us again soon. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The staff & patrons make you feel welcomed, the food was delicious, cocktails were tasty, and the atmosphere is nice. (They also have great Happy Hour specials. M-F 4-6 pm) I'll definitely be back and not just for Vet visits. Tip: Free parking in the back lot. Sister restaurants are: Shakers, Diner on Main, & Canoe House.
